8.13 million Switch units to 8.07m PS4s Nintendo has a lot to celebrate as they have just surpassed the behemoth-like PS4 in terms of lifetime Switch sales in Japan. According to Famitsu, the little hybrid console sold 8.13 million units in that region, higher than Sony’s 8.07 million for PS4. Note that Sony has three years up on Nintendo: quite the feat! Japan is only a fraction of the PS4’s market, however....

I am disappointed I will not be able to be there in person to chronicle their ground breaking protest, which involves using web 2.0 (“social media,” to lay persons) “hash tags” such as, “#gamesjournalism or…whatever other hashtag that spawns as this whole mess goes viral.” I just hope some of you will be there to lend support....

Breath of the Wild 2 would be…wild Monolith Soft, the studio that brought upsXenoblade Chronicles, is looking to hire artists, designers, and programmers for the nextZeldaproject. Apparently, its day-to-day sales have also managed to stay consistent since last Wednesday.
