Blizzard releases a sexy Wrath of the Lich King cinematic

It may not show any gameplay whatsoever, but that doesn’t keep Blizzard’s latestWrath of the Lich Kingcinematic trailer from being any less awesome. The video shows paladin-turned-Lich-King Arthas wandering around his realm of Northrend with his dead father’s voice providing narration. After some contemplation on a snowy cliff, Artas summons a giant bone dragon which then flies over his assembled undead hoard. There might not be very much action, but everything in the video looks incredible....

Contest: Get swept up in this Rainswept prize pack

Show some love for indie devs Most of our contests revolve around bigger titles — or at least, ones by development teams with at least a couple titles under their belts who know their way around the industry, even if only a little. Could we see Kinect-type tech in TVs and PCs?

Whether you care for Microsoft’s Kinect or not, the fact of the matter is that the technology inside the device is pretty damn cool. Thanks can be given to PrimeSense, an Israeli company that developed the technology. In a discussion with Engadget, VP Adi Berenson mentioned that controller-less motion controls will be coming to PCs and television sets. Not exactly Kinect-branded devices, these computers and TVs would have the same sort of technology as Microsoft’s lil’ camera that could....

Dying Light sells 5 million copies, sequel already being teased

Maybe not for Xbox One and PS4? Dying Lightwas bloody brilliant. Sure, the main story was generic soldier wank that I mostly ignored, but the side missions were incredible and simply running around the city was so much fun. I’m not entirely sure about the new expansion (The Following) introducing vehicles, but I’m remaining optimistic there will be more parkour and grappling fun to be had. Thankfully, about five million other people have bought the game too....
