With the game leaving beta this past August, though, one could have been forgiven in assuming developer Splash Damage would continue to supportDirty Bomb. As it turns out, development on the game is completely finished....

I love that it picks up where Splatoon left off You have to acknowledge the amount of effort Nintendo has put behindSplatoon. While it always seemed like a kooky side project the publisher was proud to trot it out frequently at tradeshows and other events, and put their full weight behind it at launch and beyond with free updates. While it’s unconventional to outright confirm the existence of a game (if that’s indeed what this is), in a tease, we can reasonably expect this to hit the Switch rather than the 3DS, which is in its twilight years....

‘Tencent TGP Box’ Tencent, the mega-corporation that owns Riot Games (and by proxy,League of Legends) and is a near-majority shareholder of Epic Games (at 48.4%), has announced a new console coming to China called the “Tencent Games Platform,” or “TGP.” Think of it like a Steam Machine, in a way, running on Windows 10 on a 6th generation Intel processor. Touted games includeNBA 2K Online, League of Legends,andMonster Hunter Online, all of which are free-to-play, and all of which are based on properties in conjunction with Tencent....

I completely forgot about the existence ofTenchu: Shadow Assassinsfor the Wii. It seemed to appear almost as silently as an actual ninja would if one were to piss off an oyuban. I have not enjoyed aTenchugame since the first one, but twenty dollars is right on the threshold where I’m comfortable throwing money away on a title even if it winds up not being very good, as I usually get more bang for my entertainment dollar than I would paying roughly the same amount of cash on a mediocre movie in the theatre....
