Sony recently revealed that thePlayStation 2 has sold more than 160 million units worldwide, further cementing it as the best-selling video game console of all time. However, some fans were left with one burning question: How many PS2 units did Sony make in total? As a result of this mystery,a fascinating photo has been making the rounds all over social media, which shows a PlayStation 2 memorial from the Sony Interactive Entertainment headquarters that states the company had produced 160,636,885 units within the console’s lifetime, from January 2000 to March 2013....

But its lack of in-game course browsing and searching tools is utterly baffling. Lethal Companyis supposedly about dealing withmurderous entities, but the real horror is the necessity of meeting ever-higher quotas for the titular company. The quota is the amount of credits you need to make every three in-game days, a number that rises whenever your team successfully meets the target. Not meeting said quotas will terminate your contract — and life — as it causes the company to eject your team into the depths of space....

Give a ghostly hand of assistance The Novelist, a game where the player assumes the role of a ghost inhabiting a house visited by a struggling writer and his family, has released today on Steam. As with many new releases, it’s enjoying a 25% off introductory sale price of $14.99. I adore the idea behind this. Part stealth game, part life simulator, as the ghost you seek to help the members of the family work through a difficult time but you can only help them if they don’t know you’re in the house (presumably because they’d flee in terror if they did)....

Bring Hannibal back By way of a fireside chat-esque video from producer Adi Shankar,Castlevania‘s Netflix show cast has been revealed. It’ll have none other than Scottish actor Graham McTavish (Uncharted,Preacher) as Dracula and Richard Armitage (The Hobbit,Hannibal) as Trevor Belmont, which is a hell of a way to lead. It’ll also sport Matt Frewer, Tony Amendola, Matt Frewer (Max Headroom,Gargoyles), Emily Swallow, and Alejandra Reynoso. I mean, I’m into the animation, I’m into the cast, I really hope they don’t screw this up when it hits on July 7....
