Ocarina of Time 3D may be out of production

Get it, it’s fantastic Once upon a time the 3DS wasn’t doing so hot. Sales weren’t great shortly after its launch, there were hardly any games for it on the horizon, and Virtual Console updates were a joke. As you may probably tell, it got much better as each year went by. Ocarina of Time 3Dis a huge reason why I came to love the handheld. The touched-up visuals are absolutely beautiful, the new controls were superior to the original in every way, and the portable format was perfect forZelda, as it has been many times in the past....

Preview: MLB.TV on Xbox Live

Baseball fans know the season officially kicked off on Tuesday, with Ichiro Suzuki and the Mariners dispatching the equally lowly Oakland A’s in extra innings in Suzuki’s native Japan. Anyway, this means the long baseball season is starting anew, and that there are plenty of baseball games that will need watching from now until October....

Preview: NCAA 14 getting physical, getting physics engine

College gets physical. Finally. NCAA Football 14is going to be a much better game thanNCAA 13. I can assure you that much because it has implemented a physics engine, the Infinity Engine 2. If the name rings familiar, the first iteration of the Infinity Engine was implemented in last year’sMadden 13, prompting me to give it high marks. Football is physical. Physics are good for football. The six week lead time onNCAA 13(ahead ofMadden) prevented the team from having enough time to employ the physics engine last year, but now the series is getting its new iteration, one designed to remedy some of the growing pains of the first version of the engine....

Spirit Swap is a match for therapeutic gaming

Soft Not Weak’s debut game is flipping fantastic I’ve been lucky enough to get to meet a lot of game developers from very different walks of life. From people at big names like Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Devolver, Riot, and Bethesda, to little indies likes Tom Happ and Joakim Sandberg, I respect them all, and hope they all get what they want out of this unpredictable, often terrifying industry. That said, there are some games I feel more hopeful for than others; the games that I think might be “good” for people in the ways that matter....
