The rating as a whole isn’t interesting, but what is hip about all of this is the ESRB’s summary, the place where a poor soul at the organization breaks down the game’s naughty bits. The summary mentions that players will “kill hundreds of enemies” ranging from human bandits to the “mercenary soldiers with a “wide variety” (read: millions) of guns....

Looking to raise nearly $3 million In 2012, the folks at InXile Entertainment turned to Kickstarter to finance the development of the critically acclaimedWasteland 2. The next year, it returned to the crowdfunding platform to fund 2017’sTorment: Tides of Numenera. Designer and snake oil salesman Peter Molyneux has dared to criticize Kinect, admitting that it has some problems as an input device while still making sure to heap oodles of praise upon it. “I’ll admit that Kinect has got some problems,” he said. “As an input device it has some real problems. Without a thumb stick, navigation is a real problem. You haven’t got any buttons, so ordering the player to do something can be somewhat of a problem....

As rumored last week, Nintendo today officially announcedPokeparkfor the Wii. Very little was said about the game, but a briefing held for retailers last week had a fewloose-lippedattendees, and they’ve let a Meowth or two out of the bag. You’ll take control of Pikachu, with your initial objective being to make friends with the other Pokemon at the park. This is done via minigames like tag, battles and quizzes. Once you’ve earned a few buddies, you can team up with them for more advanced co-op adventures....

It will also be available on PC via Steam, but the release date has yet to be announced, or has it? Square Enix released a new trailer titled Arsenal of Elegant Destruction that shows off combat, and originally displayed a July 08, 2025 release date for PC. They have since removed the video and re-uploaded it with only the PS4 release date displayed....

Prototypes to be sent out in ‘3-4 months’ BBC recently got a chance to talk to Gabe Newell about the upcomingSteam Box, Valve’s upcoming attempt to bring the Steam platform into the living room. Mr. Newell mentioned that a big hurdle at the moment is deciding on the right type of controller for the system.
