The lies among us Telltale is going to be at San Diego Comic Con this weekend, but what they were bringing was a mystery until now. Ahead of the convention proper, the developer has announced sequels to three of its most popular series, including aWolf Among Us 2. The other new games will beBatman: The Enemy Within(what is this,X-COM?) andThe Walking Dead: The Final Season! All of these games will be debuting on PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One with mobile ports to follow, though onlyBatmanwill be releasing this year with its debut coming on August 8....

The booth babes here this year at TGS 2008 are decidedly less fun and frisky then they were last year. For the first day, they were quite lively and fun, as they’re hired to be. I’ve noticed that a couple of days later you begin to see this underlying aggravation and sadness in their faces, probably from the crowds and pictures and foreign guys asking for phone numbers. Of course, when it’s photo time, they always snap back to their act, slapping on a smile and sticking out their hip....

This new trailer proposes a Dali-like world So much is going on inWarframe, with so many new features announced almost weekly, it’s easy to forget about big additions that have already been announced. Take the Plains of Duviri. The area is set to follow the massively successful Fortuna and The Plains of Eidolon as the game’s third massive open-world. But with all my attention on Railjack and the Empyrean Expansion, I completely forgot it was a thing until I saw the below trailer at TennoCon....

Multiplayer is an important factor for creating lasting longevity in a title. This year saw two of the biggest shooters around embrace major changes for the competitive crowd, two uniquely distinct cooperative experiences that enticed players with multiple playthroughs, and the arrival of a new brawler in town....

The WoW voice-changing is pretty fun too There are a lot of schools of thought when it comes to microphone tech, but I’ve been a Blue (da ba dee da ba daa) man for many years now. The now-Logitech-owned company has a penchant for simplistic designs that are not only effective from a recording standpoint, but also aesthetically pleasing: if you’ve watched a video podcast or stream, you’ve probably seen a Blue microphone at some point....

As a Brit, I’m genetically predisposed to being unable to deal with warm weather. The merest hint of sunlight breaking from behind a cloud forces our entire nation to excitedly run around shopping centres shirtless, pale and gelatinous, before spending the rest of the day wallowing around in paddling pools full of ice, adding to our terminal dehydration with tearful sobs of “I’m melting, I’m meltiiing…” I feel then, only the deepest empathy imaginable for the overheating issues suffered by the poor Xbox 360....

A prime example arrived in the past 24 hours thanks to an aggressive Walmart early Black Friday kick off (which Amazon quickly price-matched).Titanfall 2isnow only $29.96, a giant 50% off for the late October release. The deal has been selling like hot cakes as the PS4 copy is now sold out at Walmart whereas at Amazon,Titanfall 2for the PS4 is backordered until November 18....

It still has a bit to go For roughly two months,Tony Hawk 5has been plagued with bugs, from online connectivity to fundamental gameplay flaws. Finally, developer Robomodo has pushed a patch this month that rectifies some of the problems, while adding two additional levels and a few quality of life tweaks. Even though this patch does fix some issues based on my testing, it doesn’t wholly make up for some of the other shortcomings, like uninspired mission and level designs....

It’ll have Steam Controller support too Valve and Creative Assembly are plotting to releaseTotal War: Rome IIon SteamOS and Linux early next year. Along with the port to Linux, they will add support for the Steam Controller.
