Like all frogs, King Croaker is a mage, and inAFK Journey, he is also one of the Dream Realm Elite Bosses. He combines defense, knockback, and AoE attacks to frustrate you. But here are some tips on how to beat him.
As I always note, your team composition is going to depend heavily on the heroes you pulled as part of the gacha mechanics, as well as what rarity you have built them to. You might not have a particular character that you’ll need to find a substitute for (maybe by checking outtier list), or you might have a high-rarity character that will be more effective than one of the suggested characters. This is more of a best-case scenario than the only way you can work this.

Best team composition for King Croaker
King Croaker would be a pretty straightforward fight, except for his magic bubble skill that will instantly defeat a hero who is hit by it. It’s pretty fearsome, and the best way to avoid having to deal with it is to end the fight quickly. However, having Thoran in your party can help immensely. But here’s the larger suggested team.
Here, Thoran tanks, Heywynn heals, Kruger debuffs, and Marilee and Odie deal out the most damage. Thoran, in particular, is incredibly useful here (and near indispensable) if he has his Ex Weapon at Mythic rank, since it allows him to withstand the King Croaker’s insta-kill bubbles. Even without that, however, Thoran has the skill to come back to life once, which can make a big difference in the fight when it comes to bypassing the kill bubbles.

Another thing to keep in mind is that King Croaker will throw its bubble at the closest hero, so aside from your tank, you’ll probably want to keep to range characters so the wrong hero doesn’t get hit at the wrong time.
What skills does King Croaker have?
Like most of the Dream Realm bosses, King Croaker has three normal skills and one ultimate, equalling four skills in total. They are:
