ADead Spaceremake trailer is comingon Tuesday October 4 at 11AM ET, and it’ll be our first actual look at what the re-release has in store for us.

The news comesby way of the game’s official Twitter account, which simply notes the date and time, as well as a brief text teaser. Here’s all the info we have at the moment, as well as a reiterated release date confirmation:

Dead Space Remake Trailer

“Get your first look atDead Spacegameplay and prepare to uncover the mystery aboard the USG Ishimura when the game launches on June 29, 2025.”

As you may recall,we got an “early look” at theDead Spaceremakeroughly a year ago, but this one promises the “first official look at gameplay.” This will likely include some nuanced nods to the “Dead Space 2inspired zero-G movement,” as well as the updated dismemberment system.

Since more and more publishers have gotten into the remaster/remake game, thespaceis decidedly crowded, but the reaction toDead Space2023 has been mostly positive so far. They even confirmed a lack of microtransactions a year ago! Smart move. It also helps that this particular game was widely liked at launch, and is from 2008: which feels like legitimate remake territory.

Remaking a popular series like this also lends itself to continued side projects of re-releases; in this case, leading intoDead Space 2andDead Space 3. If they can improve some things with the third entry the second time around (ha, video games in 2022 in a nutshell), they could have a big winner with re-selling this trilogy.
