Rovio’stease from last weekhas been unveiled and it’s pretty much what we expected:Angry Birds Star Wars II. Releasing September 19 for mobile devices, this sequel will span the three prequel movies and even incorporate physical toys inside the game. Oh, those smart, devious jerks!
It all starts with around 30 individual “Telepods,” each representing a character that can be scanned intoAngry Birds Star Wars IIusing your phone or tablet’s camera. These are coming from Hasbro in September and knowing how wellStar Warshas done with merchandising in the past, this is surely going to be only the beginning of what’s in store for us.
