This sounds pretty familiar
Patrice Désilets is a man whose name you may not know, but whose work you probably do. Patrice used to be the creative director on theAssassin’s Creedseries, before Ubisoft kicked him to the curb and held on to the rights to a game he was working on set in Amsterdam in 1666. Understandably disappointed, Patrice set to workcreating a new studionamed Panache Digital Games and we finally have the first clues as to what the team’s first game might be.
Founded this summer and unveiled back in November, Panache Digital Games is going to be working on a third-person historical-action-survival game. Hmmm, wonder where theAssassin’s Creedcreative director got that idea from.

“I believe wholeheartedly that this medium we call ‘video games’ can be a positive force for change in our society and that AAA quality gaming experiences have unmatched strength to achieve this,” said Patricein a press release. “I’ve always had an underlying ambition in my work: to move the world of games.”
The game currently does not have an officially announced title and we have no idea if it’s in any way connected to his battle for the rights to his previousAmsterdam 1666project. Still, at least we know it’s more of what Patrice is good at.
