Campaign mode coming soon to PC
They Are Billions, a colony-building steampunk strategy game about turtling to survive swarming zombies, is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in July courtesy of the popular port house BlitWorks.
If you’re wondering how an RTS like this might handle on a gamepad, keep in mind there’s a pause-and-ponder feature, and going a step further, mouse and keyboard controls will be supported on consoles.

Meanwhile, PC developer Numantian Games is putting the final touches on the incomingstory-driven campaign modeforThey Are Billions, an oft-requested addition among Steam Early Access players.
That campaign–The New Empire–will join the PC version as a free content update on June 18 alongside a pair of Survival maps: The Caustic Lands and The Deep Forest. The former is said to be “the hardest of all the maps” inThey Are Billions, while the latter is intended as a warmup for newcomers.

I appreciate that more and more traditionally PC-focused titles are finding their way to consoles this generation. If you’ve been waiting forThey Are Billionsto finish up Early Access, you’re nearly there.
