Destructoid’s intense journalistic coverage ofBlades of Timecontinues, with news that a physical copy of the game has been traced to the East Coast. I swung by my local GameStop to see if it had anything, and was informed that the closest copy to Mississippi was located in a store somewhere inNew Jersey.

As many have pointed out,GameStop’s websitelists the game with a March 31 release date, but that isnotthe official launch day. The game definitely came out earlier this week, although at this rate it’s reasonable to assume that Konami justforgotto tell the US’ largest retailer. I really wouldn’t be shocked by anything Konami does anymore.

Blades of Timecan still bebought from Amazon, of course. Personally, I have finally asked Konami for a review copy, since my plan to pick it up in-store and get a timely review done has proven impossible. I shall keep you updated with any further information.
