The long wait forCall of Duty: Black Ops 6’sseason three is finally over.
WhileWarzoneis getting reinvigorated with Verdansk and an overhaul to the battle royale mode’s quality of life,BO6multiplayer and Zombies are both injecting a ton of content into the game, like new weapons, maps, operators, and a whole lot more.

BO6 season 3 patch notes
AlthoughWarzoneand Verdansk are the main themes of season three, there’s still a fair amount of new content for BO6 multiplayer fans to dig into.
New battle pass
As always, a new season means a new battle pass with dozens of new unlockable rewards. Rewards this season include several new weapons (detailed below), new operators, new blueprint weapons, a ton of cosmetics like weapon stickers, and a lot more.
This season’s BlackCell operator is RO-Z3, a tribute to the infamous Roze skin from Modern Warfare.
Weapon balancing and other changes
The meta will shift again with new weapon nerfs and buffs for season three. Buffs include theAS VAL, Tanto .22, Marine SP, ASG-89, Maelstrom, and DM-10,while theJackal PDW received a substantial nerfin what could change up the meta.

New multiplayer maps
Firing Range, a classic map fromBlack Ops 1,is returning again in the new season, widely regarded as one of the better maps in the franchise, but that’s not all. Four new maps will make their way to BO6 this season:Barrage, Nomad, Haven,andSignal.
New weapons
WithWarzoneas a focal point this season, the weapons are returning ones from the past, including theCR-56 AMAXassault rifle,Kilo 141assault rifle,HDRsniper rifle,Kali Sticksmelee weapon, and finally, theLadraSMG andNail Gun,which will be coming mid-season.
New multiplayer modes
Long-time modeDemolitionmakes its return toCoDmultiplayer, along with the party modeSharpshooter, which also returns fromBO1. A time-limited mode will also join mid-season.

Season three will add two new Perks and a new Scorestreak to the battlefield as event rewards throughout the season.
Jay and Silent Bob
This season’s collab is withJay and Silent Boband their alter egos, Bluntman and Chronic. They will be added during the season as part of operator bundles.
New Zombies map – Shattered Veil
TheBO6Zombies storyline continues withShattered Veil, a new round-based map that takes place in a massive mansion on the outskirts of Liberty Falls. Check out our Zombies patch notes for more info.
