Call of Dutywill not be coming to Wii U this year, Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey revealed today viaTwitter.
The decision was Activision’s, according to Condrey, leaving Sledgehammer to focus its attention on the crafting the first-person shooter for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Advanced Warfare is also in development for PS3 and Xbox 360, of course. Speaking withGame Informer, Condrey and his partner Glen Schofield confirmed the last-gen versions are being handled byTransformersandDeadpooldeveloper High Moon Studios.
Earlier this week, Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemotcited poor saleson Nintendo platforms as the reason whyWatch Dogswill likely be the last “mature” title the publisher brings to Wii U.
