Here’s the full details of what the patch for PS3 does/changes to make this pretty difficult game a bit easier:
A new Super Easy Mode adds a Drink Assist to the previously existing Easy Mode. This gives you a special drink item on each stage. By drinking this you can scale three blocks instead of just one in one go.
The pillows you pick up in a stage give you an extra retry. With this patch that remains the same in Hard Mode. In Normal each pillow equals two retries. It’s three in Easy Mode.
