Minor movement in this week’s Top Ten
Sony Bend’s open-road adventureDays Goneis celebrating its third week at the top of the UK Charts, having fended off Warner Bros. gory sequelMortal Kombat 11yet again.
It is worthy of note however, that these charts are strictly reflective of physical copies only. In terms of digital stores, recent reports show that sales between the two titles have been even more competitive.Mortal Kombat 11soundly outsoldDays Goneon theU.S. PlayStation Store. However, over on the European equivalent,MK 11didn’t even outsell team-shooterWorld War Z.This has been one of the strangest launches inMortal Kombat’sstoried history.

Elsewhere in the physical charts, most of the titles in the Top Ten retained their places from last week, while the Switch release ofSaints Row The Third: The Full Packagelaunched at number 15. The release ofAvengers: Endgamein theatres has given a mighty boost to comic book titles, withLego Marvel Super Heroes 2, Lego DC Super-VillainsandMarvel’s Spider-Manall climbing into the Top 15.
With this week’s launch of chaotic shooterRage 2,it will be interesting to see ifDays Gonecan hold fort for one more week, making it a month for the sleeper hit.
