You wanted it, you got it!Deus Ex: Human Revolutionwill get FOV (field-of-view) adjustment options on the PC.

“I just wanted to let you know: we’ve recently added an in-game FOV setting to the DXHR PC!” said PC lead programmer Jim Offerman in aforum post.

FOV relates to how much of a game’s world can be seen at one time. PC gamers typically go for a 90 degree field of view, due to their close proximity to widescreen monitors. Meanwhile, console games usually rock 65 degrees. As with most things, console conventions have seen some PC games bringing reduced FOV that cannot be adjusted, and it tends to make gamers feel sick — quite literally.

Previously,Human Revolutionhad no adjustable FOV, which angered those who don’t like throwing up after having their eyes molested. Due to fan feedback, it’s now in,alongside highlighting options. It’s nice to know they’re doing their best!
