‘Battlefield will never be the same’

Much has been said about the type of gameBattlefield Vis shaping up to be. Back in March, GamesBeatreportedthat it marks a return to World War II, which makes sense given how well the WWI-setBattlefield 1went over. (Side note: the series’ naming methodology is completely off the rails.) There has also been talk of a potentialbattle royale mode, but that may or may not make it in at launch.
Officially, all we really know is thatBattlefield Vwill have asingle-player component, but we’ll see what’s what next week. I do hope the WWII rumors pan out, though. It’s been long enough.
