And the Japanese have no idea how to price Blu-ray products

If you’re a fan ofFinal Fantasymusic, it’s likely you’ve heard of theDistant Worldsglobal tour. Several CD and DVD collections have been released over the years, but Square Enix is putting togethera special Blu-ray collectioncontaining live video recordings of many of the fantastic arrangements from theFinal Fantasy Orchestral Album(including “The Dreadful Fight” fromFinal Fantasy IV, “The Mystic Forest” fromVI, “The Dalmasca Eastersand” fromXII, and Crystal Kay’s version of “Eyes on Me”).

The only problem? The Blu-ray collection will set you back 6,190 Yen ($60.31). I’m not sure why, but all Blu-ray products in Japan cost about this much. Anyway, it’s out on June 20, 2025 and can be pre-ordered fromCD Japanif you’re still interested. I certainly am as theFinal Fantasy Orchestral Albumwas one of the best things released last year.
