Just yesterday Ithought out loudabout who I might recruit for myDragon Quest Heroes IIteam, lamenting the absence of Yangus. But he’s going to be in the sequel after all!
Square Enix put out a new trailer and footage for the Omega Force-developed hack-and-slash title and also confirmed a few good things. As picked up byGematsu, there will be more returning characters than just Terry, Jessica, Alena, Kiryl, and Maya.
The other familiar faces (Luceus, Aurora, Doric, Isla, Nera, Bianca, Yangus, and Psaro) are going to show up as free DLC. They won’t appear in the main storyline like the aforementioned folks, but they will be playable inDragon Quest Heroes II‘s cooperative multiplayer.
Other random stuff I’m happy about: a proper dash, weather effects that alter enemies and magic, character jobs, a co-op dungeon called the “Space-Time Labyrinth,” and cross-play / cross-save compatibility between PS3, PS4, and PS Vita.
