Check out the demo and save 20% if you buy

Above is the launch trailer forDriftmoon, a fantasy adventure game which releases next week after a seven-year development. It certainly looks as if it has potential to be great, if it delivers on its promise of an expansive world and rich storyline.

There’s a demo you’re able to try, which I spent a few minutes tooling around in and will probably have to examine in greater detail later. Until the end of the month, grabbing the demo will also net you a 20% discount on the game should you decide to buy it.

I like what I’ve seen, though I may have difficulty getting used to the idea thatDriftmoonisn’t a click-fest and just let the animations do their thing. I think I was interrupting my own actions, which made me feel like I was just flailing around. But the game seemed pretty explicit in telling me to click things only once, so that’s probably my own damned fault.
