Great expectations
That promisedhigh-resolution texture packforFallout 4is here, and even thoughit’s been a weeksince we learned this was on the way, I’m still reeling over Bethesda’s beefy storage requirement (58GB!). Doable? Sure. Wild? I’d say so. The recommended PC specs aren’t messing around, either:
The images on the texture pack’s Steam page look identical to the ones on the main game page, but Bethesda does havethis lone high-res screenshotfor those of us who can’t possibly run this.
If you’re looking to chance it, note that “if you need to return to the original textures, you’re able to disable them within the game’s launcher menu.” There’s nothing quite like testing the waters, seeing things go horribly awry, and switching back to your prior graphical settings in a panicked frenzy.
