Slap on your Mithra ears because Square Enix is throwing another of theirFinal Fantasy XI-themed bashes. It’s called theFinal Fantasy XI Fan Festival2007, and this year they’re celebrating the game’s fifth anniversary. The event will take place beginning November 15 through 17th at the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim, California.
This year attendees will be able to get a first look (and hands-on) atWings of the Goddess, the fourth expansion to the world of Vana’diel coming to the PlayStation 2, Windows PCs, and the Xbox 360. They will also get to participate in live quests, enter contests, and attend panels featuringFinal Fantasy XIdevelopment staff. I pray there will be some LARP action.
If this is your thing, you’ll want to get a move on. The attendance is limited to 1500 people. Pre-registration costs $85 and includes admission for three days as well as a “Gobbie Bag” (ew…) and an exclusive in-game item available only to attendees.
