The patch arrives on December 17th
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Rebornis still trucking, and its 2.1 update, titled “A Realm Awoken” is set to drop on December 17th. In addition to a new instance called “The Crystal Tower,” the update will include player housing mechanics, a PVP arena, and arguably the biggest new feature — the Duty Roulette. Said feature will allow you to enter random instanced dungeons or trials daily, granting you enhanced rewards.
I’m still enjoyingA Realm Rebornon PC, and I’m still surprised at how well the game works with a controller — even on later levels. I also can’t wait to see how the PlayStation 4 version looks. Not only has Square crafted a great MMO, but they’ve also shown that with the right support, a subscription based game can still exist in this day and age.
