‘Can’t wait to make whatever is next’

Campo Santo, the developer ofFirewatch, is celebrating.

The game apparently sold enough to exceed the team’s “wildest expectations.” According to the studio, the amount of sales ensures they’ll “be around for a while,” and the team “can’t wait to make whatever is next.”

Although walking simulators are all the rage these days so some form of audience was fairly secure, it took guts to make a game like this, and the developer worked really hard on it. Congratulations are definitely in order.
