Plans to patch original game still going forward

Jonatan Söderström, half of the programming team behind the critically-acclaimedHotline Miami, has confirmed that the game will be receiving a full sequel, as opposed todownloadable content.

The newsfirst brokeon Twitter asSöderström announced that he was listening to early cuts for the sequel’s soundtrack while working. In a comment to Eurogamer, he expanded by saying that the amount of content they currently have planned is greater than that found in the original release and therefore, “feels reasonable to release it as a full game rather than a DLC.”

According to Söderström, the team is still working to patch issues with the firstHotline Miamiand has barely begun work on the sequel.
