Ubisoft finally emerged from the shadows and confirmed a public server test session for XDefiant ahead of its official release.
TheXDefiantdevs confirmed that there will be a server test session fromApril 19-21. Servers will go live on Friday, April 19, at 1 PM ET and close on Sunday, April 21, at 1 PM ET. PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S players will all have access to the playtest. As for when the first-person shooter will officially hit shelves, all signs point toward asummer release. But if any previous delays have been an indication, no release window is set in stone.

It’s important to note that if players have already participated in an XDefiant test, that is a different product and will eventually be the final launch product. Additionally, for Xbox players, the closed beta build will have a grey icon indicating it’s inspired, and players can delete it.
