How to find the key to the Captain’s Cabin in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You’ll spot the Captain’s Cabin key next to The Forgotten after receiving this quest objective. If you’re in a different location, head across the pirate ship toward the Forgotten and the second gate until you spot a golden key on a small wooden table.
It can be very easy to miss this key if you solvedSkull Rock’s barrel puzzleon the opposite side of these upper levels. As you run over to The Forgotten, the key will start sparkling to indicate its exact location. Pick it up to advance the quest.
Captain’s Cabin location in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You’ll find the Captain’s Cabin on the pirate ship in the center of Skull Rock. Now that you’ve used Pixie Dust to make it fly, you can easily access the ship and this cabin. If you’re on the boat, turn toward the Forgotten’s location to find a wooden door leading directly to the room you’re looking for.
Inside the Captain’s Cabin, you’ll find a rope winch needed to advance the“A Ship of Gold” quest. You will also spot a treasure chest at the back of the room, but you won’t be able to open it just yet. How to open the Captain’s Cabin treasure chest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Opening the Captain’s Cabin treasure chest requires unlocking the second gate, talking to the Forgotten, and picking up the silver key in the musical note room. After finding your firstglowing musical note, you’ll find the silver key on the floor near the Forgotten and Peter Pan’s shadowy figure. Pick it up before bringing it back to the Captain’s Cabin.
Inside the Captain Cabin’s chest is a map revealing the existence of buried treasure. After talking to the Forgotten, head out of Skull Rock and board the nearby raft to find a small island housing this treasure. It’ll mainly have ingots and gems, but you’ll progress the quest, which is the most important part.
