How to reach Poseidon’s Temple
First, let’s go ahead and reach Poseidon’s Temple, as it will require a bit of a swim. Head to the Atlantis lobby and keep the little construction that looks like an arena or Colosseum as a reference. If you go straight from the back of the monument, you should find a path, with a little bit of moss on the ground, that leads to a pond.
Before diving in, keep in mind that this is going to be a bit of a long underwater section, so if you have the Super Flippers and the Advanced Diving Gear, it is a perfect time to use them both. Under the water, you should see some ruins, and continue swimming past them while keeping to the right. You should see a little door, go through it.
Now the area should change to show “Poseidon Trial” so you will know you are on the right path. Continue following the underwater path and head to the right at the first junction. Pretty soon, you should be able to head above water and should find yourself in a fairly large area. Now, you are ready to solve Poseidon’s Trial.
How to solve Poseidon’s Trial
Once you are in the right area, you will see two doors, one next to the other. The clue will read “ocean master, set the fish to show; place correctly and through you go”. This means that in both doors, we will need to place certain fish in the right spots, and they are pretty rare fish so better be ready before going.
Head to the left door first and you will see a small room with three podiums. Each podium will provide a clue to the kind of fish you need to place, such as “wear a clock of icy bristles rare, place atop the podium for a chilling sharks victory stare” (this is for the Icebeard Shark). Or also “with a name like the blade, I slice through the deep, raise me up where the edges of victory we reap” (this is for the Hammerhead).
If you don’t want to spend too much time guessing, here are the fish you need to place in the two respective rooms.
You will know when you have placed all the required fish as the ground will start to shake and you will also get a notification. This means Poseidon’s Temple is now open and you can go ahead and reap your rewards, along with a new pond to fish you can unlock the new and powerful Poseidon’s Rod.
