Getting theRing of VitalityinRune Slayeris easy and hard at the same time. All you have to do is complete a quest for an NPC in the starting town. The hard part comes from the quest, calledMonster Fish, which is to defeat a specific monster. Below, we will go over all the steps and how to proceed in this quest:
Monster Fish Step 1: Finding Alvin (NPC)
This is the easiest step in the completion of this quest.Alvinis located on the wooden platform above the lake inWayshire. To start the quest, walk up toAlvinand tell him that you will help him solve the fishing problem in the town.
Monster Fish Step 2: Finding the Monster
After talking toAlvin, you will receive a quest with the details explaining that aMonster Fishis eating all the other fish in the lake. To complete the quest, you need to slay thisMonster Fishand bring the waters ofWayshireback into balance.
The fish can be found swimming in the water and is visible from the ground above the lake. This fight can be pretty challenging for low-level players, so I recommend leveling up a little bit first. TheMonster Fish(Baracuda) has a lot of health and has attacks that deal continuous damage to the player. To defeat it, use the swing-and-dodge strategy and bring a potion or two.
