‘You mean like, when someone really likes chocolate cake,’

Destiny 2just kicked off one of its biggest grinds in the series — the Solstice of Heroes. I’ll my best to break it down below (you can also just scan and subsequently closethis spreadsheetfrom Reddit user Guyovich67), but suffice to say that it’s a beast.

Solstice is basically another event that redecorates the game’s main hub, The Tower, and involves a lot of grinding to get a special armor set (and eventually, a real life t-shirt, as developer Bungie has done in the past forDestiny 1). It involves beating various missions, playing quite a bit of PVP (if you aren’t a PVP person already you’re at a severe disadvantage), and dungeons (called Strikes). Your job is to collect orbs from all of these events to buff up your Solstice armor. It’s basically custom built for the most hardcore players right now.

Well you know who did all that? Ice-T. Yes that Ice-T, who has always taken the time to share his gamer cred on Twitter, took the time to finish the armor grind. I wonder what the PVPBody Countwas when he was finished grinding (if you get that one you get cool points, which can be redeemed at a later date for trinkets like spider rings).
