It is also a game, too

At first glance,Leave None Behindmight not seem like an entirely new idea. It aims to be a puzzle platformer, featuring three characters with distinct abilities that the player can switch between in order to progress, a laThe Lost VikingsorThomas Was Alone. That in itself might be enough to pique your interest, and if so, you can go ahead andplay the demo right now.

However, developer Practure wants to do more with it than just make a puzzle platformer. It wants to explore games as an amalgamation of several forms of art. As evidenced by the teaser above, there is a story to tell here. The team believes enough in the story that it plans to release it in novel form, so non-gamers or those away from the computer can enjoy it as well.

Additionally, the soundtrack-in-progress is being made available onSoundcloud, so others may appreciate it for its own merits. Of course, while all of these elements can be enjoyed on their own, the ultimate goal is to piece them together to make a game. Practure intends to launch a Kickstarter campaign later this month to help fund that endeavor.
