It was only a matter of time before the two fantasy worlds collided, and on June 21, 2025,Magic: The Gatheringwill finally join forces with the world ofFinal Fantasyto bring a stunning new set of cards to the table.

As part of MagicCon: Las Vegas, Wizards of the Coast have revealed a bunch of new sets that will be released at some point in 2025, and while we’ll get into the other sets a little further down, the focus here is definitely on theFinal Fantasycards and the beautiful examples of artwork that we’ve already seen.

The set will feature not only well known faces from across the 16 game franchise, but also locations, spells, and mounts. It will be the largest single collection of artwork from the franchise as well, featuring artwork by both Wizards of the Coast artists and renownedFinal Fantasyillustrators.
