The Halo Waypoint blog has updated with more information on the upcoming project between Marvel Comics and 343 Industries they teased earlier this month. As some of you may have deduced, the project is a comic series which tells the story ofHalo: Fall of Reach. It’s being drawn by Felix Ruiz and written by Brian Reed who, according to Wikipedia, was the lead designer onUltimate Spider-Man.

Check out that kid on the cover. I’m told he’s John. Safe bet considering the MJOLNIR armor in the background. Assuming that’s right, this is the first, maybe second, time we’ve seen Master Chief’s face. Interesting that we’re only shown him as a child, like they’re still flirting with the idea that making a concrete stand on what he looks like will disassociate a player used to placing their own features on the superman.
