The3DS eShop is set to kick offlaterthis monthwithMega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version, and public reaction has ranged from elation to mild annoyance. Fans of the series are chomping at the bit to plunk down some cash for the bite-sized version of the full game, while skeptics are quick to state concerns that Capcom is trying to charge for what “should” be a free demo. Add that to the fact that Capcom maynot release the game unless this prototype version sells well, and you really give gamers a reason to feel suspicious.

Hopefully these new details will help ease those suspicions, as it sounds likeMega Man Legends 3: Prototype Versionwill be worth whatever it costs, with 10 separate missions (including action segments, dungeon exploring, and motorbike mischief making), the ability to free-roam the game’s hub city, and cinematics told via beautiful hand drawn production art. Lets just hope it’s not too pricey.
