The folks at Gaijin Games are cranking away onBit.Trip Runner 2but paused long enough to give a little update over atthe official blog. Along with some well wishes for the new year, Mike Roush also tossed up an image showing the new visual style for Commander Video and the world in which he’ll be doing his running.
He notes that it’s, “quite a rough draft,” but I kind of like it like this. It reminds me of when we were still figuring out 3D rendering and objects lacking textures of any kind still looked really cool in pre-rendered video because the resolution was crap. Those were simpler times.
