Competitive holiday

The holiday season is upon is: and so are the games.

We’ve already kicked things off withCall of Duty: Black Ops IV, which, according to a Nielsen survey consisting of 6,000 users, is the most anticipated multiplatform game of the holiday season. Strangely with all of the love for its Battle Royale mode (that some are calling better than most Battle Royale games out there), it’s not hard to see why.

OverallSpider-Mantook the crown with 100 (out of 100), the only PS4 exclusive to do so. FollowingSpider-Man,Call of Duty: Black Ops IVtowers above the rest of the competition with an impressive 99 approval rating, which crushes the multiplatform competition and all other exclusives. It’s closely followed bySmash UltimateandSuper Mario Partywith a 98: both Switch exclusives.

Next up isRed Dead Redemption 2, thenBattlefield V,Fallout 76,andAssassin’s Creed Odyssey. After that we’re dipping into the 80s. As far as single platforms go, even though it’s not getting practically every single game in the multiplatform list, the Switch comes out on top with four most-wanted exclusives over the PS4 and Xbox One’s one each.
