It’s almost time, once again, to see what independent developers have in the works for Nintendo Switch. Nintendoannounced plansfor a new Indie World showcase, with the latest set to go live on June 08, 2025 at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET.

While we won’t know what’s on the docket until it begins, the stream will feature “roughly 20 minutes of announcements and updates” concerning indie games that are on the way to Switch sometime this year. You’ll be able to catch it live at the link below, so feel free to camp out for the next 24 hours or so.

Nintendo Indie World April 2024

Indie World showcases have run the gamut over the past few years, with many simplydiving a little deeperinto games of which we were already aware. Now is the perfect time for all youHollow Knight: Silksongfolks to drum up some hype. Couldn’t hurt, right?

The not-so-distant indie future

Back inNovember 2023we got a look at games likeShantae Advance,Core Keeper,On Your Tail,Howl, andBlade Chimera, among others. The results were a mix of titles that were due out either shortly after the show or sometime in 2024. Whatever may be in store, this continues to be Nintendo’s go-to format for announcements, trailers, and general sizzle-reel reminders. With fewer in-person shows on Nintendo’s horizon this year — the companyrecently confirmedit will be skipping Gamescom 2024 this August — perhaps we’re due a few surprises at some point.

Don’t start weaving any very specific celebratory songs just yet, though.
