Third time’s a charm
Batman: Arkham Originsis slowly winning me over — and inunexpected ways— after initially not sounding like a worthy follow-up. The fact that the upcoming prequel won’t followArkham AsylumandArkham City‘s example of using Games for Windows Live helps. It helps so much. In fact, I actually skipped the PC versions of those titles despite their graphical superiority over consoles.
Warner Bros. tellsIGNthat in place of the Xbox 360-like service,Arkham Originswill use Steamworks. This is particularly good news considering that the title has multiplayer, now. While Microsoft hasn’t discontinued Games for Windows Live, whether or not that ultimately happens is becoming increasingly irrelevant.
