Red Barrels has made the call to push its body-mutilating survival horror titleOutlast 2from a fall 2016 release to Q1 2017.
“Our mission as an indie studio is to deliver to you the best, most terrifying, most fulfilling experiences possible. That’s why we’re taking just a little bit more time to make sure our vision forOutlast 2is in no way compromised and is the experience you deserve,” the studio wrote in an update posted today.
“Thank you for understanding. We promiseOutlast 2will scare the crap out of you.”
Ever been so frightened that you lost control of your bowels? I can’t say I have, though I am mentally preparing myself for the day hopefullymanyyears from now where such a scenario could happen.
