How to speak to elves in Dragon’s Dogma 2

InDragon’s Dogma 2, there’s an elf in Vernworth named Glyndwr who probably gives you the wrong impression. He speaks English, whereas his kin do not. However, there is a way to communicate with them using the Woodland Wordsmith specialization. Your character doesn’t really need to know how to speak the language, it’s actually your Pawns that need to learn Elvish. You need a pawn with a specific specialization in your party, at which point the text, menus, and subtitles for the elves will change to English (or whatever language you’re playing the game in....

Left 4 Dead: Survivors gameplay trailer looks just like Left 4 Dead

Zombie and zombie and zombies! Remember Taito’s “Project Z” and how it was revealed to simply be anarcade version ofLeft 4 Dead? There’s finally a gameplay trailer to accompany the big announcement. It’s full of zombies, broken English, and Japanese text I can’t read, but one thing’s for sure: it’s unmistakablyLeft 4 Dead. Yep. As far as how it’ll actually play as an arcade version, I’ve yet to uncover. It looks like it’s at least still set in first-person, with probable light guns to take care of the looming threat of the infected....

Mass Transit makes Cities: Skylines even more beautiful

I know that’s not typically how you’d describe mass transit, at least in the US I feel likeCities: Skylineshas just the right amount of complexity. I recently went back toSim City 2000by comparison (which holds up!), and was taken aback by how much I had to divine (or remember) on my own. Not that it’s a bad thing, mind, just something modern audiences have to take into account. Skylinesinstead seeks to gradually ease you in — it even limits the amount of land you can use at first....

Uh, thanks but no thanks A fewMighty No. 9updates to talk about today. First, all launch-window versions of the game will come with the Retro Hero DLC, which gives protagonist Beck a blocky, weirdlyMinecraft-esque appearance and, good lord, a one-hit-death difficulty setting. I’ll leave that one to Chris. Publisher Deep Silver has also shared details on the “extremely limited” collector’s edition. It’s $59.99 and includes a 6.5″ articulated Beck figure with swappable faceplates, shown below....
