And get Voltar as a narrator

Awesomenauts: Starstormis one of the few Kickstarters I’ve backed. It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the core game, and I’m hardly the only one on staff, either, but it’s something I feel compelled to share. The campaign is still going strong and there are a few noteworthy updates to tell you about. First, for you non-players:Awesomenautswill be freely playable on Steam this week.

Do check it out, as the community is still active on PC. If you like what you play, the game is down to a mere$3.39 to own forever. The free promotion lasts through Sunday afternoon, so there’s plenty of time to make up your mind. Character skins are also discounted if you’ve been holding out — I might have to finally cave after resisting for so long.

Going back toStarstorm, Ronimo Games has introduced a new benefit for backers who contribute $50 or more: Voltar as a narrator. The best part about this is that he’ll say “An enemy has been killed” instead of the vanilla narrator’s “A enemy has been killed.” I don’t know if that’s worth the fifty bucks to me, but I can see it being a tempting offer for some of you.
