PlayStation 4 tops hardware charts

Square Enix’ssomewhat screwyPS4 release of the previously releaseFinal Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remastertopped Japanese sales charts for the week ending on May 17 (it was released in Japan May 14), according toGematsu‘s report of Media Creates charts.

The remaster (15,913) edged out previous week leaderPuzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition(13,844).Minecrafton Vita came in third and fellow new PS4 releaseBorderlands: The Handsome Collection(6,922) rounded out the top 5. The two are the only new releases to make the top 20 chart.Mario Kart 8is also creeping close to 1 million sold in Japan.
