Apparently, 3.4 billion orc deaths are insufficient for the folks at Robot Entertainment, who have announced the impending sequel to their wave defense game.Orcs Must Die! 2will add new enemies and traps and features a new campaign which a second player can take the role of the new Sorceress character for some cooperative action. They’re also refining the upgrade system to reward players for replaying previously completed stages with a series of persistent trap upgrades.
If you’re headed to PAX East, Robot Entertainment will be there with a demo of the new game for you to get your clammy meat fronds on.
I boughtOrcs Must Die!but I have to admit to not having played much, due to developing a particular fixation on the somewhat similarDungeon Defenders. The game has a great sense of humor, though, and I’m keen to get back to it. Suppose I ought to do so beforeOrcs Must Die! 2releases this summer on PC. No word yet on whether the game will hit consoles, but here’s hoping.
