Morbid puzzle game gets release date, opens pre-orders

Life Goes Onis a platforming puzzle game in which the only way to progress requires the death of your knights to pave a safe path for the one who gets to make it through alive. As a fan of morbid humor, it’s a concept which speaks to me. The game has been announced for a release date of April 16 on Windows, Mac and Linuxthrough Steam.

A pre-order proposition is being made by the developer, offering a 25% discount off the game’s full retail price of $12.99 if you orderdirect from their website.

I think it could be fun, assuming there’s a good balance of challenge and frustration. It’s always my hope in these games that the difficulty scales at a good pace and allows you to make a couple of mistakes along the way without forcing a lot of repetitive backtracking.
