Wii U and German wins out
After nearly a month of play, speedrunners have figured out which version ofZelda: Breath of the Wildthey like best — German language on Wii U.
This video from dragonbane shows that just likeTwilight Princess, the German version is preferred for speedruns as it’s slightly faster. You can see plainly in the video that the German intro ends quicker, followed by French, with English at the very tail end of the equation. By playing it on Wii U in German you’ll shave 41 seconds off your time in total.
Can’t wait to see this at an AGDQ eventually — hopefully in race form with multiple players!
