HTC Vive to start, with Oculus Rift support to follow

Before watching this trailer, I imagined whatSerious Sammight look like in VR. I pictured a headless, shirtless, screaming kamikaze man rushing toward me, and that’s literally what the video depicts. Glad we’re on the same page! I’m also glad that this game, which is coming toSteam Early Accesson October 17, is just a diversion — we’re still getting a full-fledgedSerious Sam 4down the line.

Croteam will launchSerious Sam VR: The Last Hopeat $40 for the HTC Vive. Support is planned for the Oculus Rift as well, but not until the Touch controllers are available (any day now…).

“We believeSSVRin current state has already the potential to satisfy all VR fans looking for some serious VR love,” the studio says of the game’s run on Early Access. “The game is planned to achieve its full potential in the next six months, but could be longer depending on the users feedback.”
