Sherlock Holmes The Awakened

In a press release, Frogwares confirmsSherlock Holmes The Awakenedis “content complete” and playable from start to finish. Anew trailershowing Holmes’ investigations into the horrors of the deep is out too, so you can see just how creepy this one will get.

Mysteries of the deep

Frogwares is based out of Kyiv, Ukraine, and has been sharing updates about how the conflict in the region has been affecting development. Much like fellow Ukranian developersGSC Game World, the invasion and ongoing fighting has greatly affected the project, and the updatefrom a few weeks agoshowed just how the power outages and other factors have affected development ofSherlock Holmes The Awakened.

The Awakenedis a remake of Frogwares’ own 2007 Sherlock game. In the time since, Forgwares has made plenty more Sherlock, and also released the Lovecraft-sans-Holmes mysteryThe Sinking City. I’m betting that fans of this series are probably curious about how the studio approaches this older work now, with many more years of making Sherlock games under its belt.
