Sega has released a new trailer for its upcoming releaseSonic Colors: Ultimate. As one would expect from a video titled “HD Updates”, the new preview focuses on the remaster’s super-sharp visuals and new bonus content, ahead of the game’s launchthis fall.

Sonic Colors: Ultimatewill feature revamped visuals running at a smooth 60 frames-per-second in resolutions up to a stunning 4K. In addition, developer Blind Squirrel has coded an improved lighting engine, helping the Blue Blur to rush through a slicker and more vibrant world than ever before. TheSonic Colorssoundtrack has been remixed, giving the classic courses a fresh new sound.

In terms of features,Sonic Colors: Ultimatewill be packing new activities in the form of character customization, the new “Tails Save” checkpoint system, a temporary invincibility option, fully customizable controls, and more. The centerpiece is the new “Rival Rush” mode, which will see Sonic race to the finish line in a head-to-head battle with his classicSonic CDrival, Metal Sonic.
